Emerge Pilates Studio Build-Out: Episode 3!

This week was all about finalizing the big details in our new space.

We painted the walls a warm, earthy red inspired by the beautiful landscapes of Sedona, Arizona, a place that has inspired us after spending significant time there. We also painted the ceilings, installed our flooring, made progress on the bathroom tile, and began adding ambient lighting throughout the studio.

Every design choice has been intentional. From the colors to the lighting, we’re creating a space that feels unique to our studio as well as being able to bring this vision and experience to Marysville, WA.

• Foundations — seated bicep curls focused on posture, alignment, control, and building confidence with the movement
• Signature — progressing onto your knees to challenge balance, core stability, and full-body control while creating more endurance through the movement
• Sculpt — adding weights for increased resistance, deeper muscular fatigue, and a stronger upper body + core burn

With something as simple as a bicep curl, you’re also working deep core engagement, posture, shoulder stability, and full-body control the entire time.

There was a point where I didn’t feel like myself anymore.

Burnt out.

Disconnected from my body, my confidence… and my purpose.

But God has a way of redirecting you even when you don’t fully see it yet.

Pilates became that turning point for me.

Slowly, I began to feel stronger.
More grounded.
More like myself.

And somewhere in that process, this vision started to take shape
one that my husband and I chose to build together.

Emerge was created from that journey.

Not from having it all figured out
but from learning how to rebuild with intention, side by side.

We’re a small studio (for now), but every person who walks through our doors matters deeply to us.

Our purpose is simple:
that you feel seen here, supported here…
and that whatever you’re walking through,
you leave feeling like you’re emerging into something stronger.
